The Vulnerability Assessment Project Manager (VAPM) is responsible for managing compliance and new project/site release VA’s across multiple high traffic customer-facing websites. This role will be a member of a team responsible for working with the business, development, testing, and information security teams to schedule manage, and resolve issues identified during VA testing. Position is responsible for ensuring all Citi applications contained within this portfolio are assessed and findings are resolved within timeframes defined by policy. Detailed documentation must be maintained to comply with all corporate audit and data retention requirements. Individual will be responsible for all activities (tracking, scheduling, communications, and documentation)  associated with the facilitation of these vulnerability assessments for all assigned sites, representing security concerns to all stakeholders, and assist the VA Lead or group manager. 

            Additionally, this role will have the responsibility for the facilitation of VA testing on any Internet project(s) in which testing has been deemed necessary. While maintaining a security-focused approach to support our websites is paramount, the employment of professional “soft skills” (organizational awareness, self-starter, ability to clearly articulate complex/ technical items to varying audiences, etc.) is a principal requirement

Basic Qualifications

·         Minimum 4 years experience in program/project management

·         Minimum 2 years of experience managing vulnerability assessments/security projects or managing projects on customer facing Internet applications for large organizations with financial transaction capabilities 

·         A bachelor’s degree or 4 years additional work experience managing vulnerability assessments/Security/Agile projects is required

Preferred Skills

·         Intermediate understanding of information security risks, website vulnerabilities, and appropriate defense strategies

·         Strong documentation and record retention skills for maintaining auditable project artifacts

·         Ability to work with highly confidential information with integrity and diplomacy

·         Ability to work with multiple deliverables

·         Superior working knowledge of MS Office products

·         CCSP / PMP / CISSP (or other related project management or security certifications) preferred

Professional Skill Requirements

·         Proven success in contributing within a team-oriented environment

·         Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a dynamic and high-speed environment

·         Desire to work in an information security environment

·         Motivated self-starter who can handle multiple tasks independently with little oversight

·         Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral), and interpersonal skills are a must
